It helps us to identify the best interior designer from our huge database who can work out the best options for you. It also helps us in giving you the best possible offer within the scope of your requirements.
We recommend at least a month be given to this long drawn process. Unlike some other interior designers who have some ready made designs which they modify based on your needs, our designers will prepare designs based on discussions with you as well as detailed research. This takes time and it makes sense to give it time. While renderings into realistic views happens only in the end of the process since that requires a lot of time and effort, designers use idea boards, 2D layouts as well as basic 3D’s in their discussions.
Quote and Work Flow planning
It is highly possible that the outcome of the previous stage results in a design which is dramatically different in budget and scope of work from what was initially thought. This happens because many requirements come up during design phase and many suggestions are shared between the customer and designer. We prepare the quote once more and have a discussion with the customer before start of the actual execution to discuss and plan out the entire project flow including timelines. This helps in not just ensuring clarity but also gets everyone “on the same page”.
Our execution processes have seen the most dramatic and pleasing improvement over the years. Right from formal work reports every Friday to periodic audits on sites to ensure quality and timelines, we have documented everything. The process of execution is geared to ensure minimum issues cropping up. Due to the number of variables and touch points involved as well as the high degree of human intervention required, problems happen. But we ensure that adequate measures are taken to week out these problems and sort them out at the earliest.
Our Handover starts approximately a week before the actual handover is likely. An audit and preparation of a list of “snags” is made which is also shared with you. These things are the things pending and we start doing the final touchups and handling these issues before giving the final handover of a beautiful home to our wonderful customers.
